A hidden agenda means that there are some objectives you seek to accomplish at the end of your work day, week and year other than your assigned jobs and duties, other than the goals on your scorecard. Objectives towards which you are excited to work, objectives from which your interest grows out of . They can be as basic as digging more in a topic you already are an expert on, or just a brand new area of profession. Or possibly, hard as making a major change in a routine process or work flow which will eventually effect people you work with. The agenda is not hidden from others, it is hidden because it is inside ourselves waiting to be revealed.

I always look for a hidden agenda -if I already don’t have one. I read resources and blogs of the professionals, talk and discuss with others and try to gain a new perspective about the passion which drives me. I pursue until it matures into a doable project. Whether it will face implementation or not at the end, the process is always beneficial almost for everyone.

You eventually need a hidden agenda, an inspiring goal,  if you are looking for ways to love your work -maybe the most time-consuming part of your life. You don’t need to think deeply about your passions – your topic of interest and areas you want to be productive in. Just concentrate on things which inspire you and carry you to work every day.
